Injection Molding Manager
Production Management
- Ensure monthly achievement of Budget, Production, inventory, WIP target with optimum use of Resources of Man, Machine, Materials etc
- Drive production-related initiatives & ensure reduction in production cost and product
- Minimize scraps/ wastage at various stages of the production
- Control of Supply chain, Planning and Inventory control to ensure no delivery failure as per customer schedule.
- Ensure plant expenses are maintained within budget (All Fixed and Variable costs)
- Reviewing and controlling non-conforming products, analysis of customer complaints and interacting with customers to provide full-proof solutions to customer complaints.
- Planning the day-to-day production-related activities and allocating work for achieving monthly production targets and manage entire Supply chain.
Project Management
- Monitor and review the completion of new projects on schedule and interact and give timely updates to the customer on the same.
- Suggest inputs for preventive measures to ensure maximum efficiencies from machines /
- Ensure smooth industrialization as per agreed internal TFC.
People Management
- Monitor the manpower deployed on the shop floor with their skills and the production
- Performance review of subordinates & providing supervision for skill & competency
- Identify & train the needs of employees and coordinate with the HR Department for implementing programs as per training requirements.
- Develop & motivate employees through training, job rotation, job enlargement etc.
- Responsible for employee health & safety issues as per statutory
- Ability to set priorities, and motivate and develop employees to become top performers.
- Possess enthusiasm and desire to meet and exceed objectives, and improve
- Ability to take calculated risks for improving overall Company performance
Knowledge & Specific Skills:
Awareness of IATF, VDA 6.3, MACE, TPM, EMS, OHSAS, 7QC Tools, Process Audit, Product Audit, Layered Audit, CAPA etc.
Awareness & Knowledge of Customer Portal workings
Qualification: BE Mechanical / Production / Plastics
Experience: 10+ Years of relevant experience in the Automotive Industry (preferably Injection Molding parts for automotive and white goods applications). Exposure to paint would be an added advantage.
